STUDENT OPINIONS ABOUT VAN YYU SHMYO ANATOMY COURS DEFINITION

Introduction: The Anatomy course, which is taught as a basic science course in all fields of health, is very important in terms of carrying out the education given more effectively in terms of being related to the other courses taken by the students in the following years.The aim of study is to determine the opinions of the students in many departments in the field of Health Services about the efficiency and effectiveness of the anatomy course. Method: In the universe of our study, first-year students studying in the departments of Van YYU Health Services Vocational School in the 2021-2022 academic year were included. The sample of the study consisted of 500 volunteer students. Students answered a questionnaire that included 18 questions. Finding: 59.6% of the students who participated in the survey stated that they were interested in the Anatomy course. In the analysis made by gender, the desire for anatomy theory and practice courses was higher in women (56.9% - 89.0%). In the analysis made according to age, according to the findings, the 18-24 age group (53.1%) is more likely to like studying anatomy theoretical lessons compared to the 25-30 age group (38.9%). When the students' willingness to come to the department they study according to the type of high school they graduated from, and the students who graduated from health vocational high school (66.5%) and the students who graduated from other high school types (53.1%), the rate of students who graduated from health vocational high schools to come to this department is higher. Conclusion: About the anatomy lesson; This study, which was carried out by taking the opinions of the students, emphasized that it would be more beneficial to provide anatomy education both theoretically and practically, and the importance of its contribution to professional life was emphasized once again.
