SERUM ISCHEMIA-MODIFIED ALBUMIN AS AN OXIDATIVE STRESS BIOMARKER IN LUNG TUBERCULOSIS PATIENT

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, tüberküloz hastalarında yeni bir oksidatif stres belirteci olarak iskemi ile modifiye edilmiş albümini (IMA) araştırmaktı. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmamıza aktif akciğer tüberkülozu olan 49 hasta ve 45 sağlıklı kontrol dahil edildi. Serum IMA otomatik spektrometrik yöntemle ölçüldü ve sonuçlar istatistiksel olarak karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular: Akciğer tüberkülozu hastalarında IMA düzeylerinin kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı derecede yüksek olduğunu bulduk. Albümin seviyeleri hasta grubunda kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı derecede düşüktü. Sonuç: Çalışma, bu parametreyi pulmoner tüberküloz patogenezinde yeni bir oksidatif stres belirteci olarak kullanabileceğimizi göstermiştir.
