The main purpose of the study is to discuss the importance of Mental Health First Aid, which is widely practiced in many countries, how it is applied and its benefits. Mental health problems are common, with one in four people worldwide experiencing mental health problems, but the lack of knowledge and the associated stigma can prevent people from seeking appropriate help early on. People with mental health problems may sometimes lack the insight that they need help or be unaware that effective help is available to them. Family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues can help by offering help when they notice the signs and symptoms of a mental health problem. When a problem is diagnosed early, a mental health crisis is more likely to be avoided. It is also possible for individuals to have a mental health problem or to have close contact with someone with a mental illness throughout their lives. While there are professionals and other support services available to help people with mental health problems, professional help may not always be available when emergencies arise. When aid resources are not available, members of the public can provide mental health first aid and refer them to appropriate aid and support resources. This can be possible by giving Mental Health First Aid Training to individuals in the society.
