Turkey; with its rapidly growing population, advantageous geography and the contribution of advantageous geography to exports, it continues to develop worldwide. Undoubtedly, one of the most important sectors acting in our country is the bedding sector. The developments, innovations and exemplary solidarity of the mattress sector in recent years have been the factors affecting the mattress sector positively. However, the bed sector has a complex structure that requires more labor. Therefore, bed producing enterprises have problems such as low productivity, low product quantity and difficulty in production planning. In the furniture industry, preventive measures should be taken, as factors affecting productivity negatively reduce productivity. In the furniture industry, there are two main factors that are effective in lost work times, which lead to a decrease in productivity. The first is the loss of work time caused by management and employees, and the other is the loss of work time due to product design and manufacturing methods errors. Investigation of work-time losses in the furniture industry is important in terms of measures to be taken. The investigation of labor losses in terms of intensity and cause-effect relationships have been carried out in other countries and in Turkey for many years. However, no such study has been found in furniture enterprises. In this study; it is aimed to find work time losses that cause decrease in productivity of workers and to create solutions in a large scale furniture company. In this study, Group A mattress production line of a private mattress enterprise which is workshop type and labor intensive is discussed. The scope of this work is; •Modeled with ARENA simulation software of the current production system, •Losses limiting the amount of production are determined, •Improvements were made at the points where the losses occurred, •Alternatives have been derived from ways to increase the existing capacity, and from these two scenarios, the first scenario Grubu Group A ”bed production capacity increased by 32 (65.31%) and total production capacity increased to 81, It is aimed to model the alternatives of the identified paths with ARENA simulation software and increase the production capacity by analyzing the results obtained.
