The impact of the current pandemic situation affected the normal operations of the institution by following the Government’s Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on COVID-19 guidelines, thus the academy is also facing challenges with the current situation like how our Faculty will deliver the same High quality of education to our cadets. The Commission on Higher Education sets a national advisory regarding the flexible learning that will address the current situation in all Higher Educational Institutions(HEI) in the Philippines. Maritime Institution’s task is to implement and deliver a new flexible learning mode or alternative learning mode which is the Learning Management Systems with the combination of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) to the Cadets and Faculty, with this new approaches to the readiness of each Faculty and Cadets is now on the process of gearing up.
