APRIORI ALGORITHM BASED BOOK SUMMARIES APPLICATION FOR MOBILE DEVICE

Abstract

In this study, book summaries application project which can be used in mobile devices is explained. Books are very important for the future of a country and are always necessary to read. Unfortunately, our country is ranked 86 in the world ranking according to the UNESCO. The aim of this project is to reduce this ranking downwards. In this study, book summaries are created by the users and it is aimed to reward them according to the number of the summaries added. The study includes Apriori algorithm, which is an association rule mining and it is based on Android. Text to Speech service is used for the automatic reading of books. For the web site of the study, PHP programming language and MySQL as the database were used. As a result of using the Apriori algorithm, the section of the recommended book summaries were created in the mobile application and the recommended book summaries were successfully listed.
