Abstract

In this study, Co(II) {[Co(HL)2Cl2]}, Ni(II) {[Ni(HL)2].2H2O} and Cu(II) {[Cu(HL)2].3H2O} metal complexes of the ligand (1Z,2E)-N'-hydroxy-2-(hydroxyimino)-N-(p-tolyl)acetimidamide (H2L) found in the literature were obtained. The structures of their complexes have been proposed considering ICP-OES, elemental analysis, UV-Vis, FT-IR, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivity, charge balance and previous studies. According to these results, the geometry of the Co (II) complex is octahedral, while the geometry of the Ni (II) and Cu (II) complexes are proposed as a square plane.
